You're Invited. To a UV Rave. [Open]
Oct. 11th, 2014 10:24 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.
Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.
There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.
It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.
(OOC: I realise we have quite a few people on hiatus. Please feel free to join in even if you're late. Tag whoever you want, take who you like and have a lot of fun. Below I have included a couple of playlists - but I have terrible tastes in music so feel free to find your own playlists as backing inspiration)

He stripped off his shirt and turned in a circle for her. "I'm a blank canvas. Where do you want me?"

Date: 2014-10-19 02:52 pm (UTC)The paint was cold and Daniel yelped before he could stop himself. "Jesus, woman, warn a guy!" He laughed. After a couple of breaths he straightened and grinned. "I'm an artist. I'd just turn it into something else."

Date: 2014-10-19 07:21 pm (UTC)"Where would the fun be in that if I warned you?" She asked, a smirk on her lips as she left the handprint on one side of his chest. Just above his heart. Tracing her fingertip across to the other side, she drew spiral swirls around his nipple. "Yeah, what would you turn a giant dick into?"

Date: 2014-10-19 07:37 pm (UTC)Daniel tried to stand still under the careful attention of her finger painting. It tickled but he wouldn't let her see that. "Some kind of dinosaur. I've been dealing with dicks my whole life." Nice. Well put, Daniel. He mentally facepalmed and tried again. "I've had to repair art disasters for a very long time. I restore in my spare time."

Date: 2014-10-19 08:21 pm (UTC)"Well I kind of assumed what with you being a guy and all. Dealing with dicks." Abigail grinned as she traced a series of binary numbers on his body. 01011001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100011 01110101 01110100 01100101 . "You restore art, that's cool. I restore things; clocks, computers, engines."

Date: 2014-10-19 08:24 pm (UTC)"Oh really? Is that your day job when you're not painting innocent party goers with-..." he looked down the length of his body. "Binary? Is that binary?"
no subject
Date: 2014-10-19 08:40 pm (UTC)"No, not at the moment. It was back home for a while; local electronics, all kinds of old things and that. What kind of paintings do you restore?" Abigail finished up the numbers just above his hip. Tucking her hair behind her war, she smiled at him. "Yeah, it's binary. You know it?"
no subject
Date: 2014-10-19 08:44 pm (UTC)"No I don't know it." He said, twisting to get a look at the string of numbers. "And it's old stuff mostly. Paintings that have been locked in attics for decades, in damp cellars, that kind of thing. It's only a few a year but it's a good supplement when no one wants to buy the shitty stuff I put out for general consumption." He said with a grin, turning so she can do his other side.

Date: 2014-10-20 10:56 am (UTC)Dipping her finger into a different colour, she looked up as she listened to how he fixed old, abandoned, broken, probably unwanted things. Licking her lips, she raised an eyebrow as he presented her his back.
"I think it's pretty unfair to take up the whole canvas but if you insist. You'll be the one regretting it when you're standing in your underwear when some pretty girl asks to write her number on you." Abigail replied, tracing another set of binary numbers on his back. This time writing This is a picture of a giant dick. Told you you'd regret it- Abby. on it. "And also if your shitty stuff sells then you must be doing something right."

Date: 2014-10-20 04:54 pm (UTC)"I hope what I'm doing right is making rich people look like pretentious assholes." Daniel said, squirming as she hit a ticklish spot. "And I should know, I am one." He tried to hold still but he had to bite his tongue when she scratched gently down his side. "But that's boring. Unlike you, painter of strangers." He said, throwing a smile over his shoulder at her.

Date: 2014-10-20 07:47 pm (UTC)Daniel laughed. "Don't worry. You're not going to offend me. I know how I-..." He yelped when she jabbed him in the ticklish spot and turned a fierce glare which was only slightly ruined by the smile on his face. "How about I give you my name and you give me yours?" he said, holding out his hand. "Daniel Thornton."

Date: 2014-10-20 07:52 pm (UTC)"Sure, we can do that." Taking his hand, she made sure to get his palm nicely painted as she shook it. "I'm Abigail, Abigail Flynn."

Date: 2014-10-20 08:02 pm (UTC)"Abigail. Nice to meet you." Daniel said, slowing down as he looked at his now paint covered hand. He narrowed his eyes and lifted his hand moving quickly and getting a hand on wrapped around her forearm before she could snatch it back, smearing paint all along it before letting her go. "Not even, exactly. But at least it's closer." He said, grinning at the handprint on her arm.

Date: 2014-10-20 08:49 pm (UTC)Looking at the paint, she raised her eyebrow before reaching forward and leaving a line of it down his nose.

Date: 2014-10-20 09:04 pm (UTC)Daniel scrunched his nose up as the paint dried and shrugged. Never one to back down from a challenge, he dipped two fingers into the nearest pot and dotted them in a line of one, two, three splodges on her cheek. He cocked his head and examined his work critically. "I like it."

Date: 2014-10-23 04:55 am (UTC)"Yeah, what suggestions have you got to even this out because I'm not going round looking like a human etch-a-sketch." Abigail replied, grinning as Daniel looked at his reflection.

Date: 2014-10-23 08:23 pm (UTC)"Well...maybe we should share." Daniel said, leaning in to kiss her cheek, moving slowly so she could duck away if she wanted to.

Date: 2014-10-25 08:33 am (UTC)Abigail raised an eyebrow when he went to kiss her cheek, turning her head at the last moment so his lips met hers instead. Brushing a kiss against his lips, she pulled back before touching her mouth to see if he'd actually managed to transfer the uv paint.
"Not a bad attempt," Abigail replied dryly. "Want to try again Thornton?"

Date: 2014-10-25 02:23 pm (UTC)"Yes, ma'am." Daniel grinned and stepped close, cupping the back of her head gently and kissing her full on the mouth leaving a perfect print of his lips over hers.

Date: 2014-10-25 08:08 pm (UTC)Daniel smiled at her. "Being respectful is a kink? That's new." He said, pressing another kiss to her other cheek so that she had a matching set and then leaned back to grin mischievously. "I was raised to be a proper gentleman."
