You're Invited. To a UV Rave. [Open]

For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.

Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

 

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.

There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.

It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.

"Aw, now you're just bein' cruel." He laughs to let her know he's kidding and finishes off his beer, bending over to set the bottle under the speaker where no one will trip over it. He holds out a hand and grins at her. "Dance with me?"

"Of course," Bonnie grins. Finishing her own drink and following Davin's example with her bottle placement. The guy whose drink she stole seemed to be completely over the situation, so at least that was something. Placing her hand in Davin's she let him lead.

He smiles happily and takes her hand, leading her out onto the dance floor and twirling her once before pulling her in against him. They move gracefully together, and Davin rests a hand on her hip before placing her hand on his shoulder and moving them to the music.

"So, why haven't I seen you around before?"

Bonnie tries not to giggle at she's twirled. It's so much fun to just dance, care free and not be worrying about life. And the fact her dance partner seems to be a good dancer, rather than some of the people she's danced with in the past in an added bonus.

"I'm relatively new. And I've not particularly been on a night out round here yet. But then I could ask why haven't I seen you around?"

"Aye well, I've been a busy bee. They've been workin' me t'the bone, I'm afraid." A couple next to them is thrashing their limbs wildly more than they are dancing, so Davin lifts Bonnie off of her feet in a twirl to get away from them. He sets her down once they're away from the flailing and chuckles at her. "Welcome to Siren Cove, then. If you're in the market for a new friend, I hear I come highly recommended."

She clings onto his shoulders as she is lifted into the air. Considering it's been a while since someone's picked her up, there is a moment of apprehension before her feet are safetly and firmly on the ground. Much to her relief. "Well, I'd have to see a friend CV and references first," she replies with a wink.

It's a freeing experience to just be able to bounce jokes off someone. Sure she has Jason, but there bond is more sibling like, and she hasn't seen a lot of him lately. "I tend to just let people make up their mind about me after a trial run of friendship."

"Oh, I've got those. Just let m'know where I can fax them over t'ya." He laughs and wraps an arm around her waist as they dance. He likes this girl, and he'd like to get to know her away from a loud, overcrowded dance floor. "What d'ya say we give that trial run a shot, aye?"
