You're Invited. To a UV Rave. [Open]

For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.

Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

 

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.

There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.

It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.

Davin's had enough drinks that all he does is laugh when there's suddenly ice cold booze all over his chest. No harm done; it's not like he expected this shirt to last night.

"No problem," he calls out over the music, reaching out to clap the guy on the shoulder. The guy's cute, and Davin is buzzed enough that flirting with anyone and everyone seems like the best idea. "I'll forgive you if you buy me a drink."

He winks to let the guy know that he isn't serious, but hey, he wouldn't say no either.

Somewhere in his mind he realises that the other guy isn’t actually asking for a drink – but considering Ethan no longer has his own drink and the poor guy has a no doubt sticky, whiskey shirt now. It only really seems fair to get him something if he wants. “Sure, what are you drinking?” He asks, loud enough to be heard over the music.

Someone at the bar seems to notice him turning more toward the bar and moves over, ready to take their drinks order.

"Aye, whiskey! As if there's any other choice." He grins and slides up next to the guy, waiting for him to give his own order before holding out his hand. "I'm Davin."

"Whiskey," Ethan parroted loudly to the guy behind the bar, "And a vodka coke." Despite the music drowning out half of what he said, the server nodded before moving to grab two plastic cups. Returning his attention to the other he grinned, shaking his hand, "Nice to meet you Davin, I'm Ethan."

"Likewise!" Davin squeezes the guy's hand before letting go and reaching for his drink excitedly. He leaves glowing pink marks on the rim when he takes a drink and he chuckles to himself. He doesn't even know how many kiss marks are littering his face and neck, or how many he's left on other people. "Are ya havin' fun?"

"Yeah, s'more what I am used to in New York - didn't expect it in Siren Cove." He admits. It was one of the things he missed most about New York. If you wanted to go out, there was always something going on in the city that never slept. Siren Cove however was a town that expected everyone to take part in whole community events. It was nice, but incredibly different from what he was used to. "You enjoying yourself?"

"Yeah, I'm havin' a great time. Can't tell ya how badly I needed this." He grins and takes another sip of his drink before turning towards him excitedly, leaning in a bit so he can be heard over the music. "New York, huh? Are ya from there or did ya leave here for it an' come back?"

"I hear ya, seems like a long time since I've been able to unwind properly." Taking a sip of his drink, he lazily gazes over the crowd. Finding no sign of his sister. Maybe she found someone and left already. "I'm from there. Moved here a couple years ago. But I'm a native New Yorker."

"Wow, musta been some adjustment, comin' here from there." He leans back against the bar and pulls his sticky wet shirt away from his skin before finally just shrugging and pulling it off. He's far from the only guy here without a shirt on, and he wanted to get painted on anyway. He balls up the fabric and uses it to wipe away the last of the stickiness before laying it on the bar. "What brought ya here from someplace like that?"
