You're Invited. To a UV Rave. [Open]

For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.

Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

 

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.

There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.

It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.

Gemma gives it a swirl and then knocks hers back too, wiping her lips with the back of her hand (leaving a smear of paint there, of course) and smiling as he toys with his cherry.

"But can you tie the stem in a knot with your tongue?" she asks him. "Oh, who am I kidding. You can probably tie it in a bow."

He snorts a laugh and nearly chokes on the cherry, bringing the back of his hand up to cover his mouth as he gets himself under control. "Oh god. Well, I haven't had any complaints."

He laughs again and eyes the cherry stem thoughtfully. "Let's find out! I'll race ya."

The stem is bitter when he pulls it into his mouth, and he closes his eyes in concentration as he tries to work it into a knot with his tongue.

Gemma is realy, really good at this, in part because she's actually practiced it as a party trick and in part because of...experience in other areas. But none of that means anything if the stem is too short to bend properly and she's struggling from the moment she pops it in her mouth. But she's still determined to win, even if the knot isn't pretty. She's fought tougher odds than this.

Davin knew how to do this, once upon a time. Once he discovered that it was a thing, he perfected it. And then he went on to perfect other things with his tongue.

He goes a bit cross-eyed and probably looks ridiculous, but he manages it. He can't pull the knot tight, so the stem looks more like a tiny pretzel from he pulls it from his mouth and holds it out, drunk and proud. "Ta da, an attempt was made!"
