For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.

Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.

There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.

It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.

Louise composes herself. "Okay, tell me what to do and how to do it. I need paint, I guess?"

"You can paint on me if you like," he says, with a smile - other than the handprints down one side, he's more or less paint free. "I'll be your canvas."

"Oh, really? Exciting."

She accepts a tube from a stranger and giggles when she can't find the opening. "This may take a while."

"You want me to offer professional guidance?" He asks her, grinning. "Or I can just stand here and look pretty."

"Because you are a professional when it comes to body paint?"

She gets the tube open and covers her finger tips with it. "Tell me about it while I wait for inspiration to strike."

"Artist." He leans in, looking for a kiss. "What am I supposed to be telling you about."

"You always so easily dodge the honest, long spun answers."

She taps her lips with her fingers before giving him a light kiss, covering his mouth with paint. "I'm going to cover you in leaves. Whenever I think I find the trunk, it's just another branch of stories."

He smiles, loosely locking his fingers behind him, giving her room to work.

"You wouldn't like me if I was simple."

"Never decide for me what I like."

She draws a little sun around his left nipple, before taking one of the beams and giving it leaves all down his side. Only when she's looking back up to see her work, she notices how hot and excited she is. It's just all so different.

"Turn."

"Yes, ma'am," he says, turning, suddenly very aware of his breathing, of every single brush of her fingers.

Maybe Louise should have eaten more, drank more. Maybe it was just the insane loud bass drumming through her.

"I'm almost done. I hope you won't be disappointed."

"Never in you," he says, utterly serious for a moment. "I'm sure it'll be beautiful. And, if nothing else, I'll shine like a star. First time for everything."

"Suns." She flicks a nipple. "I made suns, Rhodri."

He bites his lip at the surge of feeling when she does that.

"Sun. Right. Sorry."

"Almost done."

The entire situation almost feels like a big gulp of absinthe and she giggles. "I hope I can inspire you in the same way."

For a moment, just looking at her in the dancing light, it's difficult to find the words.

"You do," he says, finally.

It all feels much too serious for a bleeding rave party, it feels like the both of them are creating something together right now.

"Already?" Maybe her smile is a little nervous. She hands him the tubes. "Go on, then."

He takes the tubes from her, moving around her slowly like he's thinking it through.

"Stars," he says. "I need to pick you out in stars."

"Stars?"

"Because I am the sun or the moon? Or both?"

"Pay no worship to the garish sun," he murmurs, smearing paint on his fingertips before he starts to draw stars down the side of her beautiful face.

"Wh-?"

She closes her mouth, murmurs "should I shut up until you finish with my face?" with her mouth half-closed.

"Shakespeare," he says, smirking. "And I'm nearly done."

"How very clichéd of you", she says with her tongue between her teeth.

"I could give you something from the Mabinogion or Pearl. But it'd be less accessible," he says, leaning down to ghost his lips over hers.

"And you think I won't be able to take it?"

She closes her eyes. "Are you going to do my back as well? I dressed for it."
