You're Invited. To a UV Rave. [Open]

For an event so well known, there had been almost no advertising. The venue located in an old warehouse near the docks that had been renovated purposefully for such an event. And yet it had drawn quite a large local crowd - to the displeasure of some.

Everybody that pays the entry fee receives a free glass of champagne and a small bottle of UV paint in their prefered colour upon entry.

 

Throughout there are bars serving a vast variety of drinks and 'paint stations' complete with brushes and vast arrays of coloured UV paints. Allowing clubbers to be as creative with their ideas... or just plain messy as they wish.

There are two DJs, playing in different sections, one with the more traditional 'Electronic Dance' style of music, the other playing a selection of requests and popular classics.

It's designed to be a night the people of Siren Cove will remember - or forget if they choose to drink enough.

"I think I've been claimed as a canvas," Alfie replied apologetically. The multitude of variety in the hot pink finger paintings were proof that there had been a number artists. It was probably the blue hands prints on his neck that stood out most. He was just pleased Zoey hadn't decided to take the lipstick approach on him that she had with a number of people at the bar.

"If you see a petite girl, with a blonde pixie hair cut, lime green bikini top and an evil glint in her eye go past here - she owes me a drink and my shirt."

"Well I can replace the drink but not the shirt." Daniel said with a laugh, looking over the man in front of him. He was practically covered. "And I'd say you don't need my paints at all." Daniel held out his hand. "Daniel." He said.

"Alfie," he replied, shaking the offered hand. "And I'm pretty certain someone painted a dick on my back, so that's a thing..." He could only hope it was small if that was the case. But at least most people in this place were pretty drunk and would only laugh a little.

Daniel made a spinning motion with his finger and examined Alfie when he turned. There most certainly was a dick.

"Yep. That's a cock alright. And whoever drew that had a penchant for veins and extreme exaggeration." Daniel said with a raised eyebrow. "I can make it look...not like that if you want?"

"Part of me feels I should be impressed they managed to do that just by fingerpainting - whilst drunk. But most of me wants it gone if possible," he admits. Someone is bound to take a giant drawing of a dick as an invitation to try something. "Work your magic."

"Done." Daniel said, chuckling. He picked up his brush and directed the young man to a stool at the bar. "I'm thinking some kind of tree? Probably the best use of...that." He set to work turning the ugly drawing into something more elegant. "So i'm assuming you didn't come here for the artwork?"

Holding up his arm to display his forest scene tattoo, he called, “Trees work fantastically for me.” Anything to replace the dick painting – which really shouldn’t surprise him, but still. “Nope. My new neighbour guilt tripped me into accompanying. Although I was completely up for the alcohol too. How about you? Just felt like painting everyone?”

Daniel admired the tattoo and went back to painting. "Honestly, I'm here for the booze and the people watching. People are always at their bare essentials when they're at something like this."

"Can't go wrong with booze," he agrees, having had a fair few drinks himself already. "Probably why everyone is quite so open... and willing to paint a dick on my back."

"I think that was because you're a soft target." Daniel said with a laugh. "But now you have a masterpiece and no one, drunk or sober, will want to ruin it with dicks."

"Thanks man, if only I could see it properly," he grins, attempting to admire the artwork on his back. "Should have brought on of those barber mirrors with me. Anyway, can I get you a drink as thanks?"
