Mira looks around for a second, unsure if he's waving at her, but then waves back with a smile. The young man looks a little like she feels - pushing himself to be bold in the face of uncertainty - and she can appreciate that. She's pretty sure she's seen him around town, but that's true of most people in this town -- there's a general sense of familiarity to most people, even the ones she doesn't know, if they've been here for any time at all. There are fewer people in this town than attend Brown, it's pretty small.
She moves in his direction. "Hey," she says. "On your own here too?"
